INSTALLATION: FS2004

1- Unzip all the files with WinZip in your FS2004 /Aircraft folder

2- Place the contents of the Gauges folder in your FS2004 main FS Gauges folder.

3- Place the a340 folder in your FS2004 main Sound folder.

---Best view in spot view type 346 Ft ( Aircraft appear at 110 ft definitely too close)---

---Important note about take-off:---
Take-off must be made at 80-90% N1 depending of the amount of fuel in the aircraft, for the best result,
or use TOGA

Special notes:
1- This aircraft model is made available for the private use of Microsoft
Flight Simulator enthusiasts. Under no circumstances,
may this zip file, be sold for profit.

2- A special thanks to Project Opensky for providing me the original A330-300 model.

----IMPORTANT----
It's a freeware, provided by the Simulated Cargo Conversion Bureau

A330-200 AND-300 ALLENGINES CHECKLIST
=====================================

BY: Kevin Gomes

All proceedures for the checklist are for Ken Mitchels A330 panels
Aircraft used are the Projectopensky A330's. Links can be found at the bottom of this checklist.

MTOW= MAX TAKE-OFF WEIGHT
V1: SPEED THAT A REJECTED TAKE-OFF (RTO) CAN NOT BE ACCOMPLISHED
VR:ROTATION SPEED (LIFT OFF)
V2:SECONDARY ROTATE SPEED IF V1 IS SURPASSED
STALL CLEAN: STALL SPEED WHEN FLAPS ARE UP
STALL DIRTY: STALL SPEED WHEN FLAPS ARE FULL
1+F: SLATS AND FLAPS EXTENDED

Airbus uses 1,2,3,4 to describe there flaps, not degrees numbers like Boeing or MD.

All speeds and weights are in LBS (Pounds) and KTS (Knots) and M (Mach #).

***REMEMBER TO GEAR DOWN WHEN FLAPS ARE AT 3!!***

/////////////////////////////FUEL CALCULATIONS\\\

How much will I Burn?

Once you reach cruse altitude, look at your FF (fuel flow gauge) on your ECAM or analog dial.
If your FF indicates "6.7" this means you burn 3.35 tones (Imperial) of fuel per hour.

So take your FF (you can devide it in half if you want, it doesn’t matter, they will always come out the same if you do your
math correctly) and multiply it by the number of engines you have (1,2,3,4,or 6) (have a calculator)

6.7
2
---
13.4

then take 13.4 and multiply it by how many hours your trip will take, say 5. so

13.4
5
----
67

So you will need 33.5 (because 33.5 + 33.5 is 67), 33.5 tones of fuel for 5 hours worth of cruising. DO NOT USE THIS FO YOUR

WHOLE FLIGHT, ONLY DO THESE FCALCULATIONS DURRING CRUSING!!!

then take 33.5 and subtract it from your totalizer which lets say will be 100, and half of 100 is 50, so...

33.5
50
----
16.5

so you will have 16.5 tones left over.

How much have I burned?

once again, 6.7 multiplied by two equals 13.4 then multiply it by how many hours you’ve been airborne, lets say 2, so 13.4

multiplied by 2 equals 26.8. So you’ve burned 13.4 tones of fuel (because its 3.35 tones a hour, multiplied by 2 equals 6.7

and 6.7 multiplied by 2, because of 2 hours worth of cruising is 13.4 tones of fuel)

/////////////////////////////////USE THE GPS SYSTEM\\\\\

On the Ken Mitchell Airbus panels, the GOS system is built right in.

at the top, right next to the autopilot is the config for the GPS.

The knob closest to the auto pilot section controls the distance (10, 20, 40, 80, 120, 240).

At the top make sure you have CSTR, ARPT, and VORD and have it at 20NM setting.

The next knob should be on "Plan" for all this to show up ;-).

///////////////////////////////////AUTOTHROTTLE\\\\

To use Auto throttle, Press "ATHR" right below the Autopilot master, se your speed next to the HDG knob then press the

"SPD/MACH" Twice, once to switch it to Mach mode, and twice to engage Autothrottle so it works. If it doesn’t work, play

around with it. The engines should adjust automatically. If nothing happens, move your throttle and if the engines don’t

respond, its working, if they do, play around with it.
